Vikings!

I recently saw the characters for the movie “The Hobbit” and it inspired me to draw a bunch of dudes with beards. I don’t know why, but I feel like dwarfs and vikings would’ve made great metal heads of today.

Hey all, so it’s been awhile. I wen’t to a gameartisans live model night and it was a lot of fun. Here are 3 1h poses of my friend Natasza Nalewajek, the war general.

D&D character WIP

This is an idea-sketch for my D&D character! (geeky I know). Her name is Baba, she has a tendency to be rash, greedy and power-hungry but her heart is in the right place. Oh and  she owns a spirit bear. A spirit bear that kicks ass. Chyeah.

I feel like there still isn’t enough contrast and the forehead could use more light. Well, hopefully I can lead this into the right direction!

Edit:I tried fixing the boobies and they look slightly better. I recently got a couple of awesome books on anatomy for christmas, which I am very excited about. Draw ho!

Warrior Alien WIP

My first personal work since the holidays began! How exciting! I like where it’s going and I’m hoping to not ditch this sketch like the others, and actually transform it into something I’m proud of. I must add that it feels strange to draw for myself instead of for a project. Almost like riding a bicycle again after 10 years. This is the beginning of a beautiful reunion!

the quickies continue

I’m rather pleased with how this one turned out. I look back on my first photoshop drawing of the year and I’m happy to say I’m getting better, slowly but surely. The school tablets are “a whole new world” of smoothness. Maybe I’ll try some dynamic poses next…
